He's always up for a challenge, and Kellan Lutz just signed on for the lead role in Renny Harlin's forthcoming flick "Hercules 3D."
The "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2" hunk will be hitting the weights big time to prepare for the tough character, but Harlin told press he was more drawn to Kellan's non-muscular qualities.
Renny explained, "It takes more than a good physique to portray the most legendary, mythological personality in history — and Kellan has exactly that, personality."
"He's not afraid to explore the strengths and vulnerabilities of the character, and he impressed me with his passion and heart."
