Using her starpower to help prevent and treat disease around the world, Charlize Theron shot a video for The Global Fund charity recently.
Sharing a behind-the camera shot of herself in action, the "Prometheus" star tweeted, "Shooting a vid for @globalfundnews. #thebigpush #ctaop #wecanendAIDS."
Created in 2002, the organization has supported over 1,000 programs in 151 countries to provide AIDS treatment, anti-tuberculosis treatment, and insecticide-treated nets for the prevention of malaria to millions of people.
In addition to her charity work, lately the 37-year-old actress has been busy behind the camera in Boston on the NBC pilot "Hatfields & McCoys" in which she serves as an executive producer.
